TheDroneMan.net was delighted to provide aerial drone footage for the Amazon Prime documentary series Built in Birmingham: Brady & The Blues, an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the transformation of Birmingham City FC under its new ownership, including American football legend Tom Brady. Working as part of the production team, we captured cinematic aerial sequences across Birmingham as well as in central London, helping to tell the story of the club's ambitious new era. One of the most technically challenging aspects of the project involved filming in some of the UK's most restrictive airspace immediately adjacent to the Houses of Parliament, where meticulous planning, regulatory compliance and close coordination were essential. From cityscape establishing shots to complex operations in highly controlled airspace, the production demonstrated our ability to deliver broadcast-quality aerial cinematography in demanding locations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. We are also proud that the series was recognised internationally as a 2026 Sports Emmy Award nominee, highlighting the quality of the production and the talented team involved.
